My name is Hannah, and I am a young Funeral Director based in North Carolina. My goal is to share some of my most meaningful experiences, the true emotional toll that this industry takes on Directors, and to share what I have learned about some amazing lives lived that I have been honored to care for. As I have grown in this industry, it has become apparent to me how little resources are out there for Funeral Directors to turn to in the midst of compassion fatigue and burnout that is experienced by those who are truly called with a passion to this profession. Not only is my goal to reach other like-minded Funeral Directors and connect with them, but to provide resources to spouses of Funeral Directors who have a desire to better understand how best to support their partners through the day to day emotions that this job brings. In addition to last responders and their families, I feel the general public should also see that there are Funeral Directors who deeply care and view this field as more than just a job. It is a true calling, a passion, and an honor to be entrusted to care for such special and unique lives lived and their families left behind. This site is dedicated to the few special angels and their families that have truly touched my heart who I hope to honor in my connections with others!
